It has been a very slow start to this year in terms of running miles and building my fitness up after a little break. A third lockdown and some icy weather and snow has put me on a bit of a downer as I had seem to lost my motivation and interest but after my run last friday i feel a lot better and am slowly building my fitness back up. The past year has affected us all in a way and I like many of fellow club members/ runners miss the fun of races and club training and of course parkrun.
Hopefully it will be back and so will my motivation. I am signed up to the Winter version of Miles for Mind and my goal is 75 miles so hopefully i can get myself out and enjoy running again.
