As we are a few weeks into autumn now, my training once i completed the half marathon last month has slowed down a little in regards to amount of miles per week, but still staying on on the plan as my final 2 races of the year, (unless i decide to take a plunge into mud and cross country season).
Yorkshire 10 Mile is on the 20th october and having already done 2 10 mile races in the past year and getting under 2 hours for the distance at the vale of york half marathon, I aim to be under 2 hours in York and beating my time last year of 2:03.
My other goal is to get that sub 60 10k pb in a race at the abbey dash in Leeds on 27th october. I already ran a 59 minute 10k 2 weeks ago which smashed my pb by 4 minutes.
As November and the festive season comes along I will aim to get myself back into a proper gym training schedule and have that short yearly 3 week hiatus from running minus the odd 5k parkrun will be a well earned rest and hopefully will have hit over 600 miles at least, total so far in 2019 stands at 541 matching the total of the miles completed in 2018.
